💡 All work should be completed in Expository Essays. If you want to write out your text by hand and then copy it to your shared Word document in Teams, that’s fine, but the expectation is that frequent edits (additions, removals, edits, etc.) are made and recorded in SharePoint (i.e., in Teams).

- Determine your target audience and write it in your Word document below your work from last Writing II Lesson 6.5 (March 6, 2026).
- Develop your thesis statement for your expository essay and write it in your Word document.

- Begin using GenAI to find at least three sources that provide facts, details, examples, or statistics that support your topic sentences. Remember to avoid using any forms of technology to draft text used in your expository essay. The only websites that should be used have the following domains: .org, .edu., and .gov. All sources should be in English. Avoid any forms of translation.
- Add your references to your Word document on a separate references page according to APA.
- Request feedback from me as needed (in class or outside of class).
- Copy and paste your target audience, thesis statement, three topic sentences, and at least three references to a Word document and submit it to the Skeleton Outline for Expository Essay assignment in Teams dated March 9, 2026.
